Ok, that is annoying.

Bristol offers deaf studies, I guess that makes it a pretty rubbish Uni then.

I guess there's no need for people to work with the deaf, that learning to integrate with the deaf culture is something nobody should do.

I guess that no-one needs to translate in court for a deaf person,
translate for doctors and lawyers.

Deaf studies may have lower grade boundaries that other degrees, but that's because not many people do it and people are to do jobs that come out of the degree and are high in demand.

Oh yea, I guess the deaf shouldn't have teachers and should never learn anything either...

Bristol offers it and funnily enough it isn't as good a uni as Oxbridge. You could use your analogy on anything. Why doesn't Oxbridge teach something like Surf Studies. I'm sure potential suffers would like to learn the theory behind surfing and how they can get better at it. Or why doesn't Oxbridge teach David Beckham studies (yes, it is a real course). David Beckham fanatics would be desperate to learn about him and his lifestyle and how they are potential Beckham's. It is necessary to them.
