Can you wear jeans to an informal interview?

It's a popular belief that textspeak is linked to 'chavspeak'.

I've never quite understood the point in typing semi-phonetically like that tbh, and why it isn't done for every word if it's so much 'quicker' and 'easier' or w/e.
