The Student Room Group
Plenty of people do alter their course before they start uni, but it depends on a wide range of factors. Really, you're better off phoning the relevant people within the university and asking them. Good luck.

Also, have you made a decision that you want to change or is it more thinking about it? If the latter, make a decision before phoning because the admissions tutors might not take kindly to being messed around a lot.

it's more thinking about, so I'll give it bit more time. But thanks anyway.

This will depend on the number of places that the department has reserved for other students and whether you meet the entry requirements. Although Law is especially competitive, not all students will meet the terms of their offer. Many people change courses before starting their degree - and even during the first year - so there is still plenty of time. Once you have made a decision, however, it is best to let the University know as soon as you can. This will allow you know where you stand.
