I am planning to apply to warwick for a Maths and Statistics degree, however, will they require any step/aea papers and will i be disadvantaged against other students who have done it.On their website it doesn't indicate it, it only says further maths/step/aea have lower A requirements
You do realise you sit the papers alongside your A2 exams? I don't see how you'll be at a disadvantage, most people won't have done the papers yet when they apply.
And I believe they will usually give two offers, one including a 2/M in STEP/AEA with slightly lower A-Level grades required.
The typical offer is AAAa, including an A in A level maths. Those who take STEP/AEA may be considered a lower offer. It's in the prospectus . So no, they don't require STEP/AEA, and you won't be at a disadvantage as such by not doing them - you'll just need to meet the AAAa offer (if that's what they give you). The way they've done it in the past is to just split the offer up, i.e. "meet this or this" (or both).
