Durham university

Just wondered but is Durham that good? Like good enough to be overly picky

Quite a few people from my school have been rejected from there, all of which with straight As and A*s (on average around 7/8) with without question great personal statements but have failed to get in.

4 of them in particular included a guy who got into oxford to study history, another for history at UCL, one who got 8 A* and was interviewed at Oxford and the head boy.

I know they are top 10 in the country but from what ive seen they've been the most discriminative - bare beef innit?
