Equivalent grades

Just wondering, if a university made me an offer of AAA, and I end up getting A*AB, is it the same thing? even though they made the offer in terms of grades not ucas points?
no. you have to meet/exceed they're requirements exactly. You can't do worse anywhere.
Perhaps, if the university is lenient. On an open day, one of the students told me they achieved AAC for the course which required ABB and she was still accepted :smile:

It's not the same so you won't automatically be accepted. However, unis can take some applicants that miss their offer, and those grades would put you near the top of the pile.
