Re: Post pictures of your dorm room!Works out at about £110/wk, which includes breakfast and dinner every week day, and brunch at the weekends.(Original post by malli1263)
Wow, that room looks great! Really hoping I'll get an offer from Southampton now. How much is the room though? It looks like it should be quite expensive...
Thanks(Original post by MedicalMayhem)
Where did you get that support thing for the chair? ...And nice room that you've got there
You can get them on Amazon for about £6, but I think I got mine at Office World or Staples or whatever it's called these days.

Re: Post pictures of your dorm room!Hi,
Sorry to quote you from a while back but I was just wanting to ask a few things =)
I'm considering a studio for when I'm in halls next year as it'll be my second degree, and having living away from home for 3 years I'm not sure I could deal with sharing a kitchen etc again (and I'm a bit ocd!)
Do you feel isolated in your studio or do you talk to your neighbours etc? I quite like my own company some of the time but do you end up feeling lonely?
Thanks!

Re: Post pictures of your dorm room!I really like living on my own (with my partner). I spent 4 months living in a student house and 2 of the 4 people was really bitchy to me, had I been there without them I would have thought about it again.(Original post by Rhonaa)

What puts me off is that some people get really jealous of me and really put me down because of it. Thats why this year I'm on my own. I also didn't help I spent 6 months in a hostel being annoyed by chavs. Kinda just needed my own quietness. -
Re: Post pictures of your dorm room! They're £1 in Tesco at the moment! They're cheap in Sainsburys too (I think). You have to wait until they're on offer and stock up(Original post by defuzion)
