Timetable/Lectures
Hey guys 
This question is for second/third years, mainly....unless anyone else can answer
Just curious, do we have lectures on the first week and if so how do we know when they are? The reason i ask is, i've been to uni before and basically everyone had the same 'lectures' the first week (introduction crap etc) then got their individual timetables at the end of the week...is it the same at Nottingham? Or do students get sent a time table in the mail/portal before they arrive?

Most people just have introductory talks in the first few days. Some courses (Sciences and Social Sciences mainly) start lectures on the Thursday of Fresher's week, Arts start the week after, on Monday.
Your department will email you a general timetable, or you can find it online from the timetabling office.
