NHS Bursaries and Loans .. Totally Confused :S
Hey, was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the 2010/11 nhs bursary applications..and also if people doing courses where they are eligible for the bursary are allowed to apply for student loans???
This whole process has gone completely over my head
But I really don't want to be poor at uni
Any kind of help or suggestions would be useful..

xYou can apply for a reduced student loan but not the full loan as you get the NHS bursary and tuition fees paid. The reduced loan is about half the normal loan.
Just to add to what the above poster said, you aren't entitled to a maintenance grant or the means tested portion of the maintenance loan, so you get half of the non-means tested portion of the loan.
