    Tiverton Pool: Is it free for students?
    Hey everyone,
    I'm living down Tiverton Road next year, and i've heard that Tiverton Pool is free for students? Does anybody know if this is true? Cos if it is, then that is gonna be amazing for my fitness next year!!

    I'm not sure.. but have you been to see the gym yet? I've got a gym membership at the uni at the moment, but I'm not sure whether to carry on with that next year or go to the Tiverton gym..

    Yes it is, if you live in Selly Oak. You need to bring some photo ID and something confirming your address the first time round to get a membership card.

    If you live in selly oak, its £4 for a membership card

    Swimming is free at certain times of the day

    The gym, you need an induction, either get a free one (theres quite a long waiting list) or pay £10 to book a sooner one.

    Personally, I'm a member of the munrow one cos it has a better free-weights section

    I didn't pay anything for my Bham leisure card, it was totally free.
