Re: Girls- Your favourite physique on a guy
I agree, the guy you have under 'muscular' is actually 'athletic'... the guy you have under 'athletic' just looks a bit chubby.
IGNORING your examples (as I disagree with some of the labels on them), I like a man with a toned body, good arm muscles but not hugely muscular and scary. Don't really go for scrawny or chubby. -
Re: Girls- Your favourite physique on a guy
I like guys to look muscular. But I also like them "lean" in the slim sense of the word. Ie: muscular but not blocky. Like.. a really obvious sixpack I don't really like so much.. prefer it to be slightly present but subtle. Having a nice obvious V is great though.
Of those my preferred was probably "skinny", although he would be better with a little more bulge, particularly his shoulders.
The "muscular" guy has overdone his shoulders for me though.
I dunno, I'm not really that fussy in real life. Take what I get tbh, although I must say that skinny-fat isn't looking so great
(to be fair I do look after myself so I have less fat on me than that guy) and "very muscular/ripped" is just a bit gross, and frankly to be that ripped he's probably on roids and lifting weights the whole time, which doesn't sound like a match for me in any case.
Nothing wrong with "bulky", but he doesn't do it for me. -

Re: Girls- Your favourite physique on a guyNothing sadder than toning (or de-toning) your body in accordance to what women like. So pathetic.
This is a general comment OP, not directed at you at all -
Re: Girls- Your favourite physique on a guyNope, I'd take average. Your caveman argument might work, but you're forgetting some women actually value other attributes than just dedication to the gym, and also I don't think I'd fancy someone who totally at the other end of the physical spectrum from me!(Original post by 9MmBulletz)
put three guys on the street- one skinny, one average and another ripped.
The ripped guy will get more attention because he stands out. Caveman instinct has led women to want a protector and strong mate- ripped guys look the strongest and most capable of protecting.
Not only that, you could argue that a guy who is ripped (not bodybuilder size, but is packing) shows some sort of dedication and hard work because it's not easy to get a body like that and it requires a healthy lifestyle which a girl would be more happy to be involved in.
I'd probably take the guy marked as "athletic", even though I took think he is particularly athletic looking!
