Re: Introduce yourself if going to University of Central Lancashire! :)cool. ermm i think it's fairly nice, there's obviously areas too avoid if you can. shopping is good, they've got most shops you'd want, lots of places to eat out, but the pizza hut was rubbish, they ran out of food when we want... not been out clubbing or to the pubs tho, but apparently very goood night life there, its not a huge trek from one place to another.(Original post by saint99)

I'm from Warrington, which is under 30 minutes away on a train if you have no idea where it is

how does the team/no team thing work? like i can choose to play just for fun in a society or something? no idea!
i reckon you can only join one team cos they all play games on a wednesday afternoon and some will be like hey you have to train and some will let you come fun. Societies are different to the sports teams right? they probs meet up and talk about stuff, im sure thats more causal
Although im not sureeee just me guessing.

yeh im pretty sure they have basketball, you should play cos thats how you get better. I don't know about lacrosse but i think i'd suck at it lol
