previously I made this thread about how disgusting my flatmates are

but now something potentially even worse has occurred. There was a strange smell in the bathroom coming from the shower so I looked a little closer, and there, in the hair that had collected around the plug area was some poo, yes, that's right POO.

I don't know how long it's been there but it stinks.

It is quite small so I haven't ruled out the possibility that it could be a rat but a) I have looked everywhere in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen and I haven't found any other offending items and it seems unlikely that a rat would poo just in the shower? b) why the hell would a rat even be in the shower??

So either we have a rat (gross gross gross) or someone has pooed in the shower (gross gross gross but also kind of funny). I'm not holding out hope that anyone will admit to this. I'm going to see the warden tomorrow and ask her whether she thinks it could be a rat. What else should I do?

work out who takes the longest showers which then will give you the person whoo does it as the longer the shower the more likely it is that they trying to wash it down unless they scoop it out afterwards, but ewwwww thats just wrong if someone does that a wee is acceptable but poo noooooo

i asked one of them so far but it's not the kind of thing you freely admit too is it

also i don't know how long it's been there, maybe it started out big but the water made it smaller. I don't know what happens when you poo in the shower

well i guess she could get pest control in and they could look around and see if they think we have rats

it's definitely not mouse poo though, way way too big and someone has had a shower today already so maybe the water has already made it smaller

even i am having to laugh about it, it's so disgusting and weird and gross but still quite funny

That is just grim. I would put up a little notice saying that "Someone may or may not be ******** in the showers. Whoever you are please refrain from doing that. We have toilets for that."

Depends on the size, but it does happen. Someone pooed on the bathroom floor in my flat. They couldn't make it to the toilet on time.

wtf???? at least you'd try to clean it up though!! although one time there was some poo on the toilet lid also the toilet is JUST NEXT TO THE SHOWER

the more i think about it the more i think it's a person not a rat, why would a rat be in there and a rat would have pooed elsewhere. Unless it was just a lone rat that lost its way, pooed in the shower and then left

i hope whoever did this is feeling very very ashamed of themselves. i want to leave it for the warden to see but one of my flatmates is saying he's going to take a shower!

and to the person who said this has put them off non-ensuite, i think most flats are not like this, i've just been especially unlucky in being stuck with some very unhygienic people

Ok, maybe not getting to the toilet in time is an excuse, but why would you not clean it up is more the issue I'm having here!!
