Have you drawn a diagram?
Yes I have,

Well we know a=vut a = \frac{v-u}{t}

Does that help...

4) A block of mass 20kg is released from rest at the top of a rough slope. The slope is inclined at 30(degrees) to the horizontal. After 6s the speed of the block is 21ms. As the block slides down the slope it is subjected to a constant resistance of magnitude RN. Find the value of R.

Just lost on how to begin really, any help would be great, thanks!

As miml pointed out, you can work out the acceleration.

Then using F=ma work out the resultant force, and hence the resistance.

think about the component of the force pulling it down the slope...and R opposing this. Fit this into F = ma
