For mine I learnt the sentence structures that would get me good marks plus all the tenses and then gained a good grasp on the vocab so I could speak well in the exam

to get a good mark you have to take the initiative. a good way to get the initiative marks is to ask questions. have a stock of simple questions and ask them every few questions on the conversation part. no matter what grade you are getting this will halp and you cannot get A* without this.
