I thought I'd move my question here.

No, they have to be seen by witnesses in the act of intercourse. But two males kissing in public as a homosexual act would warrant a severe punishment
For female homosexual acts I heard the punishment is only admonishment (being told off) but others say it is flogging. What are your thoughts? I thought it'd be the latter punishment.

It is a ta'zir punishment according to what the judge decides. It can be very severe due to the nature of the crime.

    Punishment for lesbianism.

    Hello everyone
I was wondering, as Islam is based on purity and the Haram food laws indicate that Islam is against the inproper treatment of animals, does that mean that halal chickens are not battery cage chickens?

Ill treatment of animals is haraam.

But if you ask a person if the meat is halaal and they say yes, then you can eat it. Unless you know for sure that they get their meat from a haraam source.

    Surely then, this shouldn't exist:

How could there be halal KFC when they treat their animals so cruelly?

It could be a marketing gimmick. A good way to check if a place is fully halal is to check if it is HMC ceritifed.

Salaam brothers, I'm Muslim myself but the question I have is if the Qur'an states that People of the Book (i.e. adherents of the Abrahamic religions) with the right niyyah (intentions) will be granted a place in Paradise, then why is there such hostility towards Jews and Christians from many Muslims.

Well KFC does not even use a halal slaughter method so it is haraam anyway.

No Jews and Christians will go to Jannah after the advent of Islaam; please read this to explain the verses you are referring to.

Who are the Jews and Christians who will go to heaven.

No this is not correct. You may be referring to those who existed before the Prophet (saw) or those who haven't received the message of Islam. Jews and Christians who are aware of Islam do not enter Jannah.

Once a new Prophet comes you have to follow him. The Jews were screwed when they rejected Jesus (as). The Christians were screwed when they rejected Muhammad (saw). You have to follow the latest Prophet and we know Muhammad (saw) is the last Prophet.

Our supposed 'hate' for Jews and Christians is not aimed at their faith, we all know that Muslims hate Zionists because of Israel.
I haven't really seen Muslims hating on Christians that much.

A lot of foods claim to be halal when they are not. Prime example being doner kebab. As a Turkish person myself, I'm disguisted at how much pork they put into the meat (because pork is cheaper for them) and claim it to be halal.

yes, but does that mean everything else is haram?
What if it is approved by HFA, they say they follow strict zibah rules, but still stun the chickens though they insist they dont stun to kill.

They insist...but studies show that it often kills chickens. Furthermore stunning animals is forbidden as it is unecessary cruelty.

They also use mechanical slaughter methods which render meat haraam.

Reminder no arabic words without translation, this includes words such as "haraam" as that is arabic.

To be honest I don't know much about the rules about halal meat. What I do know is that HMC is very popular so it's meat is reputable which is why I made that comment.
