I'm not at Abertay so I have to apply directly. At booking, I'll pay 225 pounds = 2 week's rent and a tax for testing the electronics (or smth like that), and if I change my mind in 14 days I'll get a refund. As I am not from the UK and don't have a guarantor, I'll have to pay the whole rent at the start of school. This, and the uncertainty of them finishing by 11th of September makes me wanna wait for my letter from Uni of Dundee. Oh and also,my course starts 6th September. The £40 is not a tax but a non-returnable fee for testing your personal electrical items and this has no basis in law or legislation in Scotland. I think it is unjustified and should be questioned.
