difference between central st martins and lcf

whats the difference between central st martins and London college of fashion, for fashion? is there even a difference? im sure ive heard lcf is part of st martins, but on their website there is still a fashion section under the st martins bit that doesnt lead to lcf...??

LCF and CSM are both part of University of the Arts London, which comprises the aforementioned 2 colleges as well as Wimbledon, Chelsea, LCC and Camberwell. Other than this, they are seperate colleges with different buildings and different courses. Whether one is 'better' than the other or not is pretty much subjective...St Martins is more 'famous', generally more difficult to get into, and possibly offers better job and networking opportunities, but a general consensus is that LCF offers better facilities, bigger working spaces and better teaching. It also has a wider variety of fashion based courses. I'm an LCF student so possibly a bit biased but this does seem to be the general conclusion, from St Martins students as well.
