Hey all,

I was wondering how many players can play in multiplayer on 360 and PC/Laptop? My laptop can run the game but most likely it'll be a lot smoother on the xbox. I kinda only played COD 4 for ground war else I get bored playing with so few players... back in the days like 6 years ago I was playing battlefield 1942 with 63 other players!

Battlefield 2 on the PC is awesome mate - You can still find loads of servers with a lot of people - Dont play it on a laptop unless your laptop is freaking amazing . - Yes the maps go up to 64 Players in BF2, I think the minimum is 16 and max 64 or so - I used to play on 32/48 maps.. otherwise too busy with 64 people, unless its a big map

Wait are we talking about Battlefield 2 or Battlefield Bad Company 2?

Battlefield 2 can have 64 players max on the PC if I remember correctly.

And yeah BF1942 was great! Especially with the Desert Combat mod, good old days

My bad, I mean the latest one out! I went on this site that said my laptop can run it on mid settings. My laptop is only lik 4 months old.. seems like it's worth the risk! Maybe i'll "borrow" it on the net first to see if it works good before I buy it lol

Alternatively, COD MW 2 would do but I find people don't play as a team on them games as much!

Damnn on the pc? that sucks! I thought as time progresses we could have like 200 players in a massive map.. soon it'll be 1 on 1 lol

Oh cool.. I think i'll stick to xbox if I get it. Does anyone think it's better than COD MW2?

Yes indeed, in MW2 people dont play as a team much, so if thats what you are after, BFBC2 would be a better option, I think the max amount of players on that is 24/32? per server. - though im not a great fan of the Bad company series, much more prefer Battlefield 1942, 2 and 2142. Also prefer MW2 over BFBC2, but thats just my opinion and im sure there are people that disagree with me

MW2 has 18players max, in ground war if I remember correctly.

pc>all consoles and the mouse and keyboard is about a billion time better then the controler, i don't realy see why you're even thinking about getting it on console.
