Occupational Health Check- what is this? Required for Nursing Course?

What exactly is an occupational health check?

Ive had to fill in some kind of occupational health form, so is this for the occupational health check?

And what is an occupational health check?

Do i have to have some kind of vaccination/blood test/urine test, etc, etc, etc??????????

As you can probably tell, i am confuzzled hence my username! LOL.

we've a few threads about this going somewhere, UM it is a check to make sure you're medically fit to be a nurse.
yes the form is the check, unless you have any medical problems that's it you shouldn't need an interveiw or exam.
It seems some unis vary, but you willl have to have some vaccines, probably HepB, tetnus etc. I have a list of mine, there's about 6 on the list that you have to get done.

ok, thanks for clearing that up.

Now i am a little worried because i think for my age and height, im underweight.

Could this be a problem for being deemed medically fit to practice.

I am fit and healthy, i go to the gym and i go swimming, but im a dress size 8 up the top, and between size 8/10 in trousers.
