    Revision Halp! Im temporarily disabled!
    Hello,
Mkay this is probably a silly sort of question but just today I injured my hand quite badly in art and it needed 4 stitches, now I have a serious problem in that my hand is badly swollen and its making it impossible to write or use a computer at a reasonable pace (so far this message has taken me 6 minutes to type). My main problem now is that the only way I revise is to rewrite notes over and over again, until they are refined into short sentences. Any tips on how to replace this method with something similar for the next two weeks til the stitches get lifted? I've tried using my left hand and it really isnt tremendously successful.

    All replies appreciated.
    Becki

Instead of physically writing them, mentally repeat them continuously until you remember them. It's almost the same as writing them out without having to if you get me, good luck with your recovery

For somebody with a bad hand you put a hell of a lot of words in your first post!

Speech Recognition is a good idea, but it may take some time to 'train' it to work properly, and even then it's temperamental as ****.

Could try recording yourself saying something then play it over, but repeat along with it (like a song) so that you'll eventually learn it like a song and know exactly what is coming next when you click play. (just thought of this now, the repeating along with the tape, woooo! go me)
