Re: OCR Chemistry A - Equilibria, Energetics and Elements (F325).if they havent put the paper reference the only way you could get the answers is if you have the exam cafe cd that comes with the book. My school takes the cd out before giving us the books, ask your teachers?(Original post by LorenKell)
In the OCR Chemistry Heinemann text book (by Dave Gent and Rob Ritchie), does anyone know where you can find the answers to the questions they put under 'examination questions' at the end of modules, where they don't put a paper ref. underneath the question?
Cheers -
Re: OCR Chemistry A - Equilibria, Energetics and Elements (F325).it's not a question of recall so in short... no, i don't believe you don't need to learn about all the different indicators and their ranges...(Original post by arvin_infinity)
What do I need to know about indicators?!
Would be gud if somebody list them
DO I need to know the colours!? and their range!?
BUT you need to understand that: in order for the inidcator to be appropriate to the reaction the indicator's end point pH range must overlap with the reactions equivalence point pH range.. hope that makes sense?
so i imagine you could be given a pH graph during a titration and a list of indicators and their end point ranges.. and from them choose a suitable indicator? -
Re: OCR Chemistry A - Equilibria, Energetics and Elements (F325).
January 2013 paper question 5 A, the Kc question.
The mark scheme for some reason multiplied the moles by 5 to figure out the concentration. In the question it did not say it was 5 dm. it said 200 cm volume and 500k temp. How did they get the 5?
