Thats true, but at Portsmouth, no previous knowledge of Spanish is required to study Spanish Studies.


I know, but what I meant was that even if they don't require a qualificcation in Spanish, sometimes you need an A-level in another foreign language, such as French, German or Italian, to prove you're a capable linguist. For example, for single honours Spanish at Birmingham, you need a grade B in a modern language, but it doesn't have to be Spanish.
