    Oh dear God...

... I'm spending that particular week in the pub.

Actually, might go see Colin Murray if he promises to destroy the DJ booth and urinates in pint glasses again.

yeh he was ace in freshers week 2... but the rest seems really boring (and all the things like school daze and beach partys are kinda like a normal week!)

You'd have thought Tim Westwood would've got the message to bugger off, everyone I've spoke to thinks he's a complete ****.

yet he always seems to be in Dundee! i actually went to see him last year (and i think it was good night, but in all honesty he was probably rubbish and i was too drunk to care... and considering i can't stand dance music that is a real possibility) and he's played London/ Mardi about a zillion times

I've got to stop doing the 'too drunk to care' bit. Went to see Biffy Clyro last f/week, got completely and utterly hammered and don't remember one bit of the music. Although I did join in the crowd-surfing moment... anyway, at least I came out of it healthy, more than can be said for my mate I ended up waiting in Ninewells with at 4.30 in the morning.

Last year my friend got told to "f*** off, you little prick" by Dan from Big Brother. That's his claim to fame.

    P.S. Green Dayz... :banghead:

lol i got the pack this morning, despite us knocking it.. my brother got his lancaster pack which consisted of LSU - free sandwich deals and a crappy word doc of events. where as we get a full brochure lol... El Presidente are playing in october. my band that i was in supported them in manchester (weve now split up)... they locked there back stage area, very anti social, and they were very nasty with the sound engineer. they smoke cigars on stage and think htey are cool lol.. it was funny they had a big tour van for their drummer, and roadies, and i parked behind in it my clapped out escort, and got my drum kit out myself. lol... ah the things i could tell u about those pricks.... however, i did have a gig poster, my mum through it away.. however if you mention backlash at the manchester gig im sure theyll remmber us...

lol... i thought id got away from these bastards finally, when i saw that in my freshers pack i was a very angry man... god those guys are gonna pay.. ill give you "fly like a rocket" .. u just wait...

any ways im gonna join the bands society cuz i need a new band now im at dundee, hopefully within a month i can scringe a support of em again.. lol...

oh and im bringing eggs, lots of them..

i think our lead singer still has the poster.. oh god im gonna get so many copies, if they bring ther little rocket pin badges there having it i swear...

they came to manchester, we had em.. we had more fans than they did.. so they got a bit .. well cocky, and we had a few disagreements.. basially i started on ther drummer cuz she was bein a bitch, and so she started on me and it went from ther... they also seem to t hink playing gay computer sounds of a keyboard makes good music.. it doesnt! - ****ign rocket sounds argh!

so they ran off back stage and locked the door.. mature... anyway they pissed off back to scotland, with ther little record contract and poncey manager, and makeup, and dodgey suits.... then they released ther ****ing rocket video.. and now some how ive had the mistfortune of having gig pamphlets for ther gig and dundee uni thru my door...

oh i wish i could form some kinda revolt lol... you cannot understand how much i hate these gits...

I've been more or less drunk since Saturday... it's a bit painful. Also on Tuesday(?) night three f*ckers broke into our flat (in WP Villas) and trashed the kitchen, set off a powder fire extinguisher.. And now the Villas people are saying that me and my flatmates might have to pay for the cleanup, even though we called security as soon as we found it and the security guys SAW the w*nks who did it.

Oh and the freshers stuff in the Union this week has been absolutely sh*t!

The security guards at halls etc are ******s. Don't worry about having to pay for it, they used that one on me once and basically I told them where to go. Oh, and a word about debts to halls - they're not debts to the Uni and thus the uni doesn't impose sanctions for not paying them. Largely if you pay your rent etc, after you leave halls they won't pursue you for a few quid here and there.

Can't really speak for Freshers' Week. Saw the Cuban Brothers and went down the Sat night thing in mono - both qualify as 'alright' in my book. Nowt special. I'm going to Colin Murray on Saturday and hoping it's bloody better than going out clubbing... meh. Go to the Reading Rooms or something. And have another beer!

yeh i hardly went to anything in freshers due to lack of tickets for anything good and then the stupid bouncers not letting my bf into the union because he didn't have a passport as ID

one of the security guards at the villas is cool, if he finds people smoking weed he just joins them!

They let my mate into the union using a bankcard as ID! That's ridiculous - who's going to take their passport on a night out?!

yeh he's always got in fine without any ID at all and then suddenly they wanted a passport or driving license (he doesn't drive) and wouldn't accept his student cards (because it was NUS), credit cards or young person's railcard so we missed colin murray
