Founder of the Great African Society, Mastermind had a dream where he said, “I’ve been looking around TSR lately, was also in the tinychat the other night, and I realised that we have a growing number of Africans on here from great countries such as the United States of America, Nigeria, Ghana, Somalia and Sudan; Morocco and the greatest country of them all – Tanzania.

And I don’t know about other Africans out there but when I click a profile and see an African person, or when a member tells me they’re African (it’s normally hard to tell because only about 1% of the African population type "properly" ) I get this really nice feeling in my stomach. It’s hard to put it into words. I guess it's just me getting excited about my brothers and sisters getting educated/caring about their education/using a student forum.”

This society will be for discussing all things African like jollof rice, African music, Nollywood, Gollywood, education, lamenting how ‘westernised’ we are , etc. Anyone who has African roots is more than welcome to join. If you have a thing for African men/women or just a general interest in African culture then you’re also free to hang around.

African Society - must include a line/letter of how much you love me.
