you are a very insensitive person. no two people are diagnosed the same....my daughter struggles with reading and then picking out relevant details from pages and pages of script that she has to read...none of her tutors, even though they know about it, has taken the time to understand her condition or help her with it in any way. Writing essays is a nightmare for her and she suffers for it.
you are lucky to have developed your own way of doing things, obviously your condition isnt too bad.
