French at Exeter - v hard to get into?
Hey,
I'm thinking of applying to Exeter as it looks really nice and very good for French. However it says that the typical offer is ABB with an A in French. Last week I got my results - 3As and a B in French.. I was only 1 mark off an A though dammit! I'm gonna carry on all 4 to A2... do u think they'd offer me a place even tho I didn't get an A?

Have you thought of going for a remark if you were that close? I think Exeter is very good for languages. You could ring up the admissions office, explain your situation, and see what your chances are. I'm sure you'll be ok though, as you are carrying on all four subjects and your GCSE's are amazing.
