quick Spanish question ....

I have to read an article in Spanish "related to death" and have chosen an obituary about Olga Ramos, who is apparently "la reina del cuple" (there is an accent on the e in cuple, I just can't type it.) I need to speak about this article in class tomorrow, but I can't figure out what cuple is, and it's not in the Spanish-English dictionary.

Help please!!

Thank you so much!
I´ve been searching and I found this website:
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupl%C3%A9
It would seem, the word can also be spelt Couplé and that it is a type of music.
Sorry, I can't help anymore. Maybe, you could find something easier to talk about, or maybe you will be able to find out more about Cuplé now. Anyway, I wish you luck, and hope you do well with your speech.
I found this:
http://www.madridiario.es/mdo/especiales/premiosmdo2004/olgaramos.php

This and some other sentences make me think that the cuplé is a type of song, maybe like the Portuguese "fado".

I hope I helped.
