its ok, its been worse and could be better.
Bands tend to play at Fat Sams, the doghouse (if thats even open still, shouldnt be) and yuppies...
just coz im a singer in a band and i dont wanna stop performing what kinda bands do these places look for?

Umm anything really. Fat sams is more of some small mainstream stuff which is in the charts.
If you're looking to play, i'd try the doghouse (which is still open) which lets bands come in and play. http://www.myspace.com/dundeedoghouse
Most pubs if you ask them would be willing to let you play i'm sure. And if nights pop up, so would the union. Are you planning on going to Abertay or Dundee uni??
