Would you recommend studying law instead of politics because most of the politicians studied law and not politics?

My dream is working in a high position in a NGO such as UN or any of its branches. Would it be more possible with a law or a politics degree in your opinion

Politics can lead you into almost any non-vocational field. Certainly, you may be employed by an NGO or the UN with a politics degree. Equally, a law degree would be useful for both but by no means more advantageous than politics for either.

What really matters isn't so much your degree but you. Get good work experience, interview well and just make yourself a rounded individual and you'll be far more employable.

the above - with non specific degrees you can go into any non vocational work. The most important think is work experience, get anything you can
I plan on going into the Civil Service after I've done my degree
