    Sweden is Liberal.
It's had mostly social democratic PMs recently, and the SDP is the largest party at the moment.

I am Lib Dem. If you go into detail then I am not sure. I see myself in the middle of the 2 factions.

A Federal Europe is a long way off and may not happen.

That's not an answer to the question he actually asked.

I know that we on TSR in the HOC do not like to bring RL politics into the fray but i am curious as to whether Liberal Democrat MP's condone your leaders comment of 'horray' in the fake Thatcher is dead thread.

Will the Lib Dem leader resign over his appalling "Thatcher is dead, Hooray" comment?

Not good enough! That's like me saying now that I wish you were dead, and then immediately after saying sorry, that was a big mistake and expect everything to be alright.

Sorry but this is slowly becoming farcical Morgsie, and people who've stuck up for you in the past, now won't because of the way you conduct yourself and allow some of your members to conduct themselves, namely allowing them to make disgusting comments with no reprisal.

How on earth is it remotely acceptable to cheer at somebody's demise (however misleading)

I regret saying it. She was a divisive figure. I feel terrible, I really do.

It is my personal view. The official line is we don't support her death

Regret? Yet you still hold that view? Well you are Leader of the Liberal Democrats, so you are representing your whole party!

Time to stand down I think....

    Thank you clearing that up.

so the official Lib Dem Leader's view is that he supports the death of a frail 86 year old woman suffering from dementia.
