The radio is good for me because I don't have to worry about changing songs or whatever.

I am a bit of a metalhead and listening to that sort of music isn't really appropriate while trying to revise (I'm crap enough at that as it is...).
really? I always listen to my metal/rock music and I find it helps me concentrate lol. as long as the sound is not on too high!
