i put 44. it said it in the tale on the previous page. Which cell was the best for diffusion A B or C and why?
I know but I swear it divides by 4 in mitosis or something. It was B I think as it had the biggest surface area due to the villi things on it which increases the surface area so diffusion happens more quickly. I think! x

yer. i put B. I just wasnt sure. I didnt get the question about the carbon compounds in plants
I had no idea! I have just tried to google them and nothing! So i put down carbon nitrates and carbon sulphates :s-smilie: x
So what was the answer to the last question i put
11 and 23 but i think it is really wrong!
I had no idea about the carbon compounds so i just put starch or something!

The exam wasnt Bad..I got B for diffusion...i got C for meiosis
And for the carbon compounds i put starch and cellulose.

Starch = C6H10o6
cellulose= C6H10o5

SINCE THEY BOTH CONTAIN CARBON..THEY SHOULD BE A CARBON COMPOUND.
i also guessed this becuase starch is just glucose which contains some cabron and cellulose is also made using glucose...Hope im right and am aiming for an A* :biggrin:

Carbon compounds are proteins, carbohydrates and fats :smile:
Paper was easy :biggrin:
Oh, failed that question then. I put methane and glucose, ahaha.
could I have got glucose and insoluble starch or would I get juest one since they are the same thing and what did you put for how to measure the rate of photosynthesis
Yep glucose has just dawned on me. Wouldn't have got cellulose though x
would insoluble starch be wrong you think?

That was such a bad paper. SO horrible compared to previous years!! I didnt read the question on the last one due to lack of time and just guessed! DAMN. Can someone really clever post all the answers?
Reply 13
Also are nitrates carbon compounds?
Reply 14
@ stwaberry jelly baby.

y not cellulose...has c6h10o5

and to measure rate of photosynthesis:

you would need bubbles produced cm cubed
and time taken to produce them
Reply 15
I put carbon monoxide and Calcium Carbonate :frown:
Reply 16
What was the limiting factor from A to B?

What was the limiting factor from A to B?

i put light intensity but not too sure if thats right!
Reply 18
the limiting factor was temperature....As the temperature inecreased, so did the rate and it was the temperature than was limitng the photosynthesis. Come on guys...u gotta start revising and be aiming for the A*
Reply 19
Yeah I put temperature too, and the next one was carbon dioxide :biggrin:
