Coping with Non-Calculator Tests

Hey,

Just finished my first and last mock exam before I take my Module 1 GCSE Maths (Spec B) test 10 days after end of HT.

I got 20 marks on Section A (the calculator test), but just 8 on Section B (non calculator).

This seems to be a recurring thing were I'm stronger on the calculator test than the non-calculator.

If I got double my Section B score I would have got my A (my maths target).

Although I'm quite content with a B (the grade I need to go to my dream Sixth Form), and I'm 2 marks off that. What do I do to jump the 8 marks from the Poor-ness of my C to an A?

How do I counter my poor non-calculator skills.
Just so you know - I took the 2009 paper by AQA.
