It's only for weather?? I looked for a definition and it said 'inanimate objects or nature' and inanimate objects could be personification too :s-smilie:

According to wiki:

The pathetic fallacy or anthropomorphic fallacy is the treatment of inanimate objects as if they had human feelings, thought, or sensations


and examples include: 'The stars will awaken / Though the moon sleep a full hour late' which is like, a human quality.

foreshadowing means, it hints what happens later on in the book/play/poem. For example, with Of Mice and Men, when lenny talks about the rabbits at the river, it foreshadows the ending (don't carry on reading if you haven't read) when lenny is shot at the river talking about rabbits?
