Of interest?

For those of you currently at uni keen to get a better understanding of the profession then you may be interested to know that The Lawyer magazine/paper has an online section for wannabe lawyers. Rather toe-curlingly called "Lawyer 2B" it has some good articles on stuff affecting you as students and trainees. Apologies if you knew this already. The main section of The Lawyer is, of course, excellent for hot off the press news about the profession generally.

and the Law Society's own weekly: http://www.lawgazette.co.uk/home.law which is more likely to have the latest developments in tractor financing law in Ipswich or the news that Bloggins Solicitors in Swindon have made someone a partner.

If you're applying for TCs or vac schemes these publications will have covered the various hot legal topics and any developments with the firm you're applying to. You should consider them essential reading.
