When I had my UCAS info in my sig last year, I went the whole hog and had UCΛS (capital lambda (&#923:wink: instead of A). It's just because that's what the logo has:

Just to make it stand out I guess; same reason no-entry signs are red (except that UCAS wants you to enter higher ed :p:).
