The Student Room Group

is this the correct method

i just want to confirm if the way im doing this question is correct.
basically i would:
1) equate both equation so y=y to find my x values.
2) then i would intergrate both equation.
3) then i would get my results by doing the limits for each equation where the limits would be the x values.
4) minus the results from step 3 to get the area.

just want to know if thats correct for the question below

(ii) By integrating, find the area of the region bounded between the curve y=x^2 and the line y=4x

Correct.

Or, you can integrate y1 - y2 and put the limits in.

i.e. S(0,4) x^2 - 4x dx =
