Hi, I've been doing some research into a career in Actuary and it seems to appeal to me a lot. Do any of you work in this field or know anybody that does?
I've chosen to do "Actuarial mathematics with Management BsC" at uni, and I'm just wondering if I have selected the appropriate course. I would also like an overview of the kind of thing an Actuary would need to do at work. I hope I've explained myself clearly & thank you in advance

I don't mean to be rude, but didn't you check this out before you made your degree choice??? And if you've done any research into the actuarial profession then won't you already know?
