Appropriate swimwear for GUYS. Calling all Gurus! PICS

Yo, im heading to US (california) and other places this summer and im going to be by the pool/beach etc for a fair bit.

I kind of want a change from my usual holiday swiming trunks, as im building a summer beach body atm. Im not muscley, rather skinny but toned with abs (working on them haha). I usually wear Hawaiian looking ones that go down to your knees. I dont want to wear speedos ,however, would it be appropriate to wear swimming briefs?

If you have the package to go with it then yeah.
Just wear baggy shorts.

Erm no.... that might be acceptable for a private swimming pool.... but i would find it distracting.

haha okay i think i know the answer. Its long for me as im a swimmer anything longer than a speedo i THOUGHT was appropriate. apparently not! hahaa cheers. what y'all wearing?

I don't think those are appropriate for a public swimming pool.

EDIT: Get a baggier pair that go up to your knees or thereabouts.
