Smoking in halls

In the acomdation guide, two of the halls are down as non-smoking (DCollet, and another)

- How big a deal is it weather a hall is smoking or not when consdtering which hall to go in?

Surely this is a personal decision?
Whether a hall is smoking or non-smoking people will smoke anyway. Most people just smoke out of their bedroom or kitchen windows.

yeah, i know, but i was just asking how much people smoke in the halls really.
- But as long as its not really bad, im not really sure it matters much.

Smokers are a minority at Loughborough. Not many people smoke in Halls

Yeah thats what i was gonna say. Its mainly athletes/sporty people there and they take fitness/health VERY seriously!

although this year there has been a rise...u'll be fine mate, smoke out of your window with a sock over your fire alarm - no probs!
I dont smoke, but lots of my mates do.

I didnt think there would be a problem, but it just want to check.
- All the hall i saw certainly seamed pritty nice to me.

Yeah u'll be fine mate....if ure in cayley then simon the warden and the subwardens are all pretty chilled. We've got a top notch freshers fortnight lined up for ya as well!!
