A2 research methods

In alot of the questions they ask for you to design a study normally woth about 12 marks.
I havent really been given much advice on how to do this, does anyone elso know how to set out the answer?
My teacher suggested headings of design,participants, materials, procedures but im not sure of what actually goes under these headings.
Any help will be much appreciated :smile:

Design
The research design (independent groups etc) & why
IV DV / co-variables

Participants
How many - including how many males/females
Sampling method - why

Materials
All that will be used
Example questions if using a Questionnaire/interview

Procedure
Briefing speech/consent form
Step by step guide (numbered format if this helps)
Debriefing

Ethics
any issues that may arise, and how they'll be dealt with

Remember to mention a couple of threats to reliability and validity when necessary such as demand characteristics or social desirability bias where applicable and how you can counteract these problems.
