Grade boundries?

Hello fellow politic students, hope you are all well :biggrin:

Just got a quick question on the grade boundries.

I think it is fair to say its impossible to write an essay in these exams as well as you would normally be able to at home with more time and it is very difficult to get everything in. Usually you need 80% which is 64 out of 80. More specifically 32 our of 40. Last year I heard people were getting an A for only achieveing 59%. Don't know if its true but I am guess the grade boundries are quite low in these exams?

Another 2 friends took United 3 in January. One recieved 52 out of 90 whilst the other got 44. Shockingly one got a B and the other a D.

So does anyone know more about the grade boundries because it will be quite harsh if they are as high as 80% considering the amount of time we are given. Thanks!
