Ur lucky you got into 2 med schools with that attitude.
If you think Nottingham is competitive, I would have loved to see you apply to Newcastle Medical School - they would have rejected you too, and you would be moaning too!

Plus Notts is VERY overrated anyway u wanna go to a decent med school like Newcastle

unlucky matey, tis just stupidly oversubscribed really, plus i think they look for different qualities to other medical schools, one of my friends got her only (10 A*s, AAA) offer from notts whilst i think a lot of the rest (20 or so) were rejected

am sure you'll have a great time at oxford though

I heard they reject potential Oxbridge candidates, that could be it. If they're oversubscribed they don't want to accept ppl they know will get an offer from Oxbridge and use Notts as an insurance.

Don't do anything. They give out more offers than places to be safe. If there are places open I guess they fill them in during the clearing.

You don't get into medical school because you can tick all the boxes. They look at ur personal qualties too. It appears you are unable to deal with rejection well, maybe its difficult for you beacuse you have always succeeded, I don't know. This experience should make you a stronger and hopefully more humble person. Anyway, what does it matter you got into two places enjoy that many people would give anything to get into medical school at all nevermind Oxford.

Just be happy with what you've got. You're lucky to be accepted at Oxford so if that's where you wanna go, you can forget about everywhere else. Think about those who got accepted by Notts and rejected by Cam (like me). My AS grades were fantastic too but I'm not crying out "unfair" or anything like that. And ooh. I'm not trying to offend or attack you. Congrats on your offer and forget about the Notts one.
