Theres 3 official ones, 2 on this thread from the CD, and one in the back of the book.

However, feel that this will be a hard paper, doing as many hard questions as possible:yep:

So there are, three official ones which are:
    Jan 09
    Jun 09
    Jan 10

There is one in the back of the book.

There are two on this thread that came from the CD.

    Is that correct?
Also, where are they on the CD?

    Yeah, it is correct.

Not sure where they are on the CD, but you would put the CD where you can see all the files, and you could do a search, and hope that you are lucky

Do you know which year past papers of FP2 and FP3 from the old spec (e.g FP2 Jan 05) are relevant to us? I don't want to have to go throught all of them. Thanks.

Some more papers for you; the old FP1-3, so you need to make sure you know how they've been reordered:

    Complex Number: Old FP1
    Numerical Solutions: Old FP1
Coordinate Systems: Old FP2 (only parabolae and rectangular hyperbolae)
Matrix Algebra: FP3 (ignore eigenvalues/vectors, transpose, 3x3 determinant evaluation and reduction of symmetric matrices)
Series: Old FP1 (ignore method of differences)
    Proof: Old FP3

Do you know which year the FP2 and FP3 have relevant papers? (Eg FP2 Jan 06)

Oh.. I'd imagine they all would. Check the list of which topics were in which units and just do those questions.

On the first page of this thread you will find all papers and links you will ever need.

Tbh I don't think they will make it harder like they've done with most of the other units, since it's a new spec. D1 is also new and the paper was of the same difficulty as the past papers.

Just finish D1, C2 and M2, physics unit 2 and chem unit 2 now only FP1 to go!

Finding that normally the hardest questions on fp1 to be the parabola ones, especially the end parts regarding loci, some require so much working....

On C2 and M2 at least 100ums is in sight, but this, its like so much more difficult.

just a question: on the edexcel fp1 text book (new version books) on page 13 example 21.
Do we have to draw those 4 points? or will the points z1, z2, (z1-z2) be fine? (instead of drawing (-z2) as well)

Yeah it should be, they can't penalise you if they want a point, but don't say it in the question (like this one)

Really? You find FP1 much harder than M2? FP1 is so much nicer.

    Hey guys,
was wondering if anyone out there could help me!

    how do you simplify
    0.25*k^2 *(k+1)^2 + (k+1)^3

    into

    0.25*(k+1)^2 *(k+2)

so that i can complete my proof by induction!!
    thanks!
