OCR History Exam Question !

Hi,

I've got a History exam on Wednesday and I'm not entirely sure about the "message of the cartoon" for this cartoon http://www.cartoons.ac.uk/browse/cartoon_item/anytext=pah!%20the%20league?page=1

I know it's related to the Abysinnian Crisis, but need to know the exact message, please help ASAP!

Hey ive got the same exam :biggrin:. I cant really tell who is meant to be who. But isnt the message that the league has failed in dealing with the Abyssinian crisis and its showing that agression is paying off. the 2 people reading the map persuamably France and Britain are trying to decide what to do but are being slow in descion making. It suggest the Hoare and Lavel plan as well. And the emphasise on arnt You the league suggests that Aggression is the way to control the league and that the league is powerless.
