Best 3 years of my life, socially. In terms of education... not atm. Though hopefully in ten years I can say yes. But as for experiences I had and friends I made...yep, definitely worth it. I appreciate though that isn't the case for everyone - I got lucky with great housemates.

I didn't make the decision to come to university for a social life or to meet people or to gain a new sense of independence - that is just a bonus. Instead, I'm there to get a degree in something that I love and wouldn't swap for the world.

There's much to learn and discover. Getting a degree purely for the outcome of securing a job is simply foolish. Do something that you enjoy.
