    M15 - Fox control
M15 - Fox control, Mr. Spoof
This house believes that after the mauling of the two yougn children by a fox, serious considerations must be made about controlling the fox population whether it be by hunting, a cull or other means.

This seems a like a knee-jerk reaction and I don't see the need to legislate based on one incident.

No, to react to event with laws is a recipe for disaster.

However, I do support the choice to fox hunt if one so wishes.

No. Sorry, it has been said - totally reactionary.

Controlling the litter and cat-food foxes feed on would be more useful!

Totally reactionary. Making uneccesary laws based one this very bizarre event(not every foxes attack human) is a recipe for disaster.

Guns in the home will help this - not more bloody regulation.

So that she could have shot the foxes while they mauled her children? I can see that one going well

So that shooting the foxes as they entered the house could be an option under different circumstances.

Enforcing the laws we already have on littering would be a more efficient and effective approach.

Yet as far as I know this isn't a common occurrence. Therefore increasing the number of guns in houses doesn't seem a particularly good 'solution', and would probably cause more problems than it solved...

I wasn't seriously suggesting it as a measure to stop foxes mauling children. Just that if there were guns in the home then in the rare cases it could be prevented.

Well yeah, perhaps, but like I said it could well cause more problems than it prevents.

Random point of interest, did you know that you're mentioned on the article on Libertarianism on Ency. Dramatica? :holmes:
