24. Trial and improvement
1.9 (4 marks)

Would 1.85 be incorrect? I put it because I thought it was closer :/ If so how many marks would I lose? I had loads of working out e.g

1 =
2 =
1.5 =
1.7 =
1.8 =
1.85 =
1.9 =

I said
"1.9*1.9*1.9 = 6.859
10*1.9=19
6.859+19=25.859
x=1.9"

Would I still get the full marks even though I did not write it out as a trail and improvement table?:confused:

Is that all you put? You would only get 1 mark if it is.

Brilliant. I got the trial and improvement wrong, but i put loads of working out that i knew was definitely right so would have gotten 3 marks. I think I got 90% :biggrin:..
Woot! A*'s for the win. Anyone know if Mr M has an answer paper for the Unit 3 modular non- calc and calc?
