40/100 = C
50/100 = B
not sure about A
75/100 = A*
considering 75/100 is A* which is 150/200 then yeah, 147 would be an A

=]
70/200 = C
100 = B
140 = A
175=a*
From checking Mr M's answers I got 95/100. 95 in each as far as I know. I hope they don't make the grade boundaries like 98 coz that would be ridiculous. I really want an A*

According to Mr.M they have not been decided yet. You have to wait untill all papers have been marked.
One of the past papers i did was ridiculously easy and its A* boundary was 92/100, - and this years were harder than that. The boundaries for the individual papers are usually around the area of

65/100 - B
75/100 - A
85/100 - A*

I reckon A* will be around 180 overall. The paper was pretty straightforward, an A should be around 150 but we'll have to see. Should be fun waiting two months!

A* 174/200
A 140ish/200
B 105ish/200
C 66ish/200.

These are going by past grade boundaries. They will not change that much regardless of people saying it was easy, this is the case every year. Look at 2008 papers, they were a joke and the grade boundary for a B for instance was 103/200. They may change but no more than 4-5 +/- either way.

I think the maximum I got was like 143. I really need an A! I'm actually really scared now :s-smilie:

yeah this is about right, as the great boundary overall has never actually been 90%
its usually about 85% non calc and 90% for calculator :smile:

You people are talking about UMS marks right? Does anyone here know how to convert modular (60 marks per paper) to UMS marks? Roughly how much is 30 marks on a modular paper in UMS form?

My maths teacher told us that last year the grade boundary for a C in each paper was around 39/100.
Dang sure it's not going to be more than 180! Well... hopefully... I got 189 (97 on calc, 92 on the other).
